Dutchess County Executive and Hudson Valley Restaurant Week Founders Serve-Up the Celebratory “First” Meal of Fall Restaurant Week with Local Culinary, Tourism and Business Leaders. The Region’s Ultimate Two-Week Dining Event Runs November 2 – 15

In tradition, Dutchess County government officials, tourism, culinary and business leaders will join for a fresh farm-to-table lunch to kick-off Fall Hudson Valley Restaurant Week on November 2nd. This season Janet Crawshaw, Publisher of Valley Table and Founder of HVRW, Marc Molinaro, Dutchess County Executive will join John Lekic, Owner and Executive Chef of Le Express Bistro and Bar to serve guests the “first” meal. The lunch will be held at Le Express Bistro and Bar. The modern French American Bistro located in Wappingers Falls shares the mission of HVRW as the menu showcases and utilizes as much local Hudson Valley ingredients as possible, making the bistro a perfect fit to host the first meal. Fall HVRW runs for two weeks from November 2-15. The two-week dining event is a collaboration of more than 200 restaurants and businesses promoting New York’s Hudson Valley as a premier culinary destination and providing diners with the opportunity to enjoy exceptional dining at a fraction of the normal price point
